The Development of Chatbot for Guidance on Student Loan Fund Services
Abstract
This study is a research and development project that aims to develop a chatbot for student loan fund services of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. It is used to develop a chatbot using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of information system based on the Waterfall model. The chatbot will give answers about the fund's services and provide information about the problems from the first to the last steps to speed up the responses, appointment for a meeting, notification of document submission, and notification of volunteer activities including participating registration. This study included 350 students from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University who used the student loan fund service. The findings showed, in the overall assessment of satisfaction with the use of chatbots in all aspects at the highest level ( x̅ = 4.51). Taking each aspect into account, it was discovered that the chatbots' performance was at the highest level ( x̅ = 4.56), followed by their ability ( x̅ = 4.51). The ease of use was at the highest level ( x̅ = 4.49) and the accuracy of chatbots was at the highest level ( x̅ = 4.48).
