The Development of Proactive Information Services By ARIT WARP TOUR

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop proactive information services in the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Uttaradit Rajabhat University. Secondly to study the users’ satisfaction towards the proactive information services by ARIT WARP TOUR, and third purpose is to study the development of an innovative proactive information services in the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Uttaradit Rajabhat University. The research methodology was divided into 3 stages. The 1st stage was to organize the ARIT WARP TOUR operation consisting of 9 information services. The 2nd stage was to study the users’ satisfaction by using a questionnaire to collect data from the samples of 299 users between October to December 2019 and the 3rd stage was to study the guidelines for the development of an innovative proactive information services including the design and the development of the ARIT WARP TOUR system: One Stop Service Online.

The results of the study showed that most of the users put the highest rank of the register-renew membership service among 9 information services. Most of the respondents were female, student, and the location where majority of users get services was at the 1st floor of the BhumRajabhat building.The overall users’ satisfaction were at a high level ( x̅ = 4.18), and the feedbacks and inputs provided by the respondents were taken into consideration as a guideline for the development and design of an innovative proactive information service system of the ARIT WARP TOUR system : One stop service online.
